HRIS Specialist (Time & Labor Management Software Administration)

3-5+ years experience as a multi-client Database Administrator on Swipe Clock and/or UKG Time & Attendance / Scheduling systems

Provide external and internal customer service-based technical assistance to system(s) users, with a focus on the Time and Labor platforms offered to our client base. Time and Labor product configuration & scripting experience is required for our Swipe Clock and UKG SBE/MME or other ASI supported partners. 

Configure and maintain platform settings, train others, answer questions and resolve problems. Duties may include helping with system configurations, as well as the use of computer hardware and software, including printing, installation, word processing, electronic mail, and various operating systems. 

External client services - Individual will consult, configure and audit system settings and outputs, be a liaison or trainer for specific products in accordance with processes and procedures established for the product lines.  Individual will be a liaison or trainer for specific products in accordance with processes and procedures.   

Internal services –Second-level support and maintenance as needed for the delivery and utilization of features and product offerings to our internal staff.  Second level support and maintenance of internal administrative functions for delivering features and product offerings. In addition, availability to support IT with hardware and software installations and troubleshooting.  

 

Tasks and Responsibilities  

  • Maintain basic knowledge in the nationwide rules and regulation of timekeeping documentation and calculations.  

  • Configure systems and develop training materials and procedures for designated platforms. Train users in the proper use of hardware or software features.  

  • Consult with staff, users, and management to establish requirements for new system configurations or modifications.  

  • Pro-actively recognizes & solves problems and strives for constant improvement and a better client experience.  

  • Oversee the daily performance of computer systems within the scope of the position.  

  • Answer user inquiries regarding computer software or hardware operation to resolve problems.  

  • Configure, test and maintain system functions to verify correct operations and detect errors.  

  • Set up equipment for employee use, performing or ensuring proper installation of hardware, operating systems, or appropriate software.  

  • Install and perform minor repairs to hardware, software or peripheral equipment, following design or installation specifications.  

  • Maintain records of daily data communication transactions, problems and remedial actions taken, or installation activities.  

  • Read technical manuals, confer with users, or conduct computer diagnostics to investigate and resolve problems or to provide technical assistance and support.  

  • Refer major hardware or software problems or defective products to vendors or technicians for service.
